Brothers & Sisters,

On the Third Sunday of the Fast, we keep the feast of the Veneration of the honorable and life-creating Cross. “Every hard and strenuous work is accomplished with great difficulty, which appears especially in the middle of such work; for the effort in this performance brings with it fatigue which makes the accomplishment of the rest difficult. Having arrived with God’s grace at the middle of the Fast, our compassionate Mother—the Holy Orthodox Church—thought fit to reveal to us the Holy Cross as the joy of the world and power of the faithful to help us carry on the struggles of the divine Fast.” – Synaxarion for the Feast

Note, we are approaching the Fifth Week of Lent where the Lenten services intensify.  For those who missed the clean week services, you have a second opportunity to pray the entire Canon of Saint Andrew on April 14th.  This service includes the lifesaving reading of the Life of Saint Mary of Egypt.   Further, on Friday, April 16th, we will pray the Entire Akathist Hymn to the Theotokos.  So, if you missed any of these services – here is your second chance!

IMPORTANT!  PLEASE use this link to book an appointment with Father Mark for confession, spiritual counseling, and pastoral guidance.  There are still a great number of spots available through the first week of April.  PLEASE BOOK YOUR LENTEN CONFESSIONS ASAP!  Father Mark will not be hearing confessions during HOLY WEEK.

Please sign up to attend this weekend’s service here!
