On the fourth Sunday of the Fast, we commemorate Saint John of the Ladder. Read this article entitled “St. John Climacus: the Forgotten Saint”.
Note, we are approaching the Fifth Week of Lent where the Lenten services intensify. For those who missed the clean week services, you have a second opportunity to pray the entire Canon of Saint Andrew on April 14th. This service includes the lifesaving reading of the Life of Saint Mary of Egypt. Further, on Friday, April 16th, we will pray the Entire Akathist Hymn to the Theotokos. So, if you missed any of these services – here is your second chance!
